Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report (Tuesday 9th March 5:46am) Not a lot of action out in the waves, with a mix of small Southerly and localised NE windswell producing average wave height in the thigh to waist high range along the more exposed open beaches. The 5:30am High Tide is not doing us any favours with the small waves being buried on those outer banks with slow full waves on offer. Surf conditons are fair earlier on under light NW winds, a bit more lump and bump to it on the open beaches, cleaner surf up in the northern corners. The small surf will shape up more across the outer banks as that tide stats to recede. Low Tide Maroochydore 12:10pm
Rest Of The Day Outlook: Small surf will be on the cards today with the morning seeing the best of it ahead of NE winds developing through the day. Best options earlier on are those open beach breaks, with the northern corners offering some sheltered surf conditions. Expect surf conditions to be rather wind affected during the afternoon, with choppy uneven waves across the open beaches. A little push in wind swell coupled with the afternoon incoming tide.
