Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 6.15 am Tuesday, 8th March: Leftover SSE swell is producing small, pretty mediocre knee to waist-high sets at the more exposed open beaches and it's looking even smaller elsewhere. Light to moderate northerly winds already producing choppy, junky conditions along the open beaches and rendering it to ankle high mush along the points. It's a bit grey and gloomy and it's being eaten up by an early 5.30 am high tide, so all in all it's nothing to froth over. Rest of the Day Outlook: Trailing SSE swell is on its way out and they're ain't much in the way of new swell to back it up, so it's worth milking the tail-end of this event for all it's worth. Winds are set to freshen out of the north during the day, lending the focus to sheltered northern corners for a half-decent wave this arvo. This tide runs out to 12.18 pm low and returns to a 6.00 pm high. Have a good one.
