Torquay Regional Morning Report: 8.40 am Monday, 1st March: First morning of autumn looking good. Swell has backed off from yesterday afternoon’s pulse, although there are still some solid ones on the reefs this morning. Four-to-six foot sets with a light westerly wind keeping things clean, and a low tide seeing plenty of waves at Bells and Winki. A SW change is due later this morning so this is the last window to get waves before a week of onshores sets in. The tide is on its way out to a 8.10 am Low and returns to a 2.00 pm high.
Rest of Day Outlook: SW groundwell gradually settles as winds come around to the SW this morning, so it's well worth jumping on the good conditions while they last. Have a great day.
